  • A Sweet Nod To Families

Ms. Canfield wrote such a sweet portrayal of two young girl cousins, growing & learning together. Today’s youth don’t always get the privilege to develop fun and lasting friendships with extended family members. This book shows how precious such a relationship can be. Great job Ms. Canfield! The illustrations were top notch as well. Kudos!!!

  • Cousins’ Countryside Weekend is a delightful book,

Cousins’ Countryside Weekend is a delightful book, and perfect for 2nd-3rd graders who are learning to be independent with their creative thinking. This book lends itself well to extended lessons on money, time management, planning ahead, and working together. It was very easy to work with Cheryl, and I appreciated that she had the books on hand for student orders. Parents were given a choice of ordering online through Cheryl or by bringing cash to school along with the order form. She pre-signed the books which made it easy to distribute them to the students after the visit. I would be happy to host Cheryl Canfield again when she finishes another book!

This is such a sweet story of cousins coming together to beat boredom while using their individual passions and skills to plan a friendship party! It’s a coming of age book of sorts. What young girl doesn’t love planning a good tea party, wedding, or friendship party!
